About me:
Fatima is a second-year B.S student in the Department of Electrical Engineering at UIC. Her research interests relate to eye tracking technology and noise-induced hearing loss. She was previously a research assistant at the Biomedical Electrical Engineering Laboratory at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, where she assisted the P.I. and lab manager in attaining preliminary data for research related to noise-induced hearing loss and opioid-induced hyperalgesia. Moreover, she also worked as a research assistant for the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she conducted eye-tracking and bilingual experiments. Outside of research, she enjoys hiking and reading books.
